Keynote speaker and Guest speaker
CAD/DAW 2010 committee members have been buzzing for days about announcing our exciting speaker. And now we can finally blurt out the news!
We’re thrilled to announce two great DAW 2010 speaker!
Keynote speaker is Dr Benjamin J Soukup, Chief Executive Officer of the South Dakota-based Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD).
Guest speaker is Jay Simonson, First Assistant Attorney General, Consumer Fraud Unit , Colorado.
They will speak on Sunday, September 26, 2010. following the our Kick-Off luncheon at the Arvada Center for the Arts & Humanities.

Events, activities, and workshops
Members of CAD/DAW 2010 committee are planning several workshops during the week, covering such diverse topics (all tentative at this writing) as information on deafness for employers, raising a deaf child, growing up as a (non-deaf) child of deaf adults (CODA), bilingual (ASL/English) education, arts and the deaf, captioning (open and closed) issues, etc. Other community events may include an ASL movie, fundraiser(s), children’s activities, a Rockies game, celebrations at Front Range Community College (FRCC), and Homecoming events at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB).

All events are open to the public and free, unless otherwise specified.
